Non Motor Claims
What to do in the event of a motor accident or theft
Keep calm and avoid any arguments.
Be courteous
Do not admit liability, negotiate or offer compensation to any third party
Lodge a police report within 24 hour
Notify your Insurer immediately
Arrange to send your damaged vehicle to the nearest authorized panel workshop
Note down the following particulars in respect of the third party :
 
a) vehicle number(s)
b name of Insurers ( Insurance Company) and their policy numbers, if possible
c) driver's particulars
d) witness’s particulars
e) make a rough diagram of the accident scene

Road Tax Disc (copy)
Driver's license and IC (copy)
Vehicle owner's driving license and IC (copy)
Workshop estimate for repairs
Hire purchase agreement where applicable (copy)


For Theft of Vehicle
Claim Form
Police Report
Registration Card (copy)
Policy and Certificate of Insurance
Letter of release from the Finance Company, where applicable
JPJ K3 duly signed ( 2 sets)
Full set of keys to vehicle
Insured's IC (copy) for Individuals, Sole-Proprietorship and Partnership) OR Certified Copy of Memorandum & Article of Association (for Limited Company)
