Here are the general guidelines to adopt in the event of a possible claim happening:

Immediately notify your Insurer by telephone of the accident / loss and submit a written statement of claim together with full particulars and supporting documentation to Insurers as soon as possible . |

In the event of theft, fire, motor vehicle accident or fatal accident, lodge a police report immediately. |
| • |
Where applicable, notify the Fire Brigade immediately. |
| • |
When injury is concerned, seek medical treatment from a qualified medical practitioner immediately. |
| • |
Take all reasonable steps to minimize the extent of the loss or damage. |
| • |
Give immediate notice of claim to the party responsible for the loss / damage. |
| • |
For claims received from third parties, do not admit liability or negotiate settlement or repudiate liability without the written consent of your Insurers. Immediately forward all notices of claim and documents to your Insurers unanswered. |
