Group P.A.

This policy covers more than one insured person in a single policy. It is usually taken up by an employer who wishes to insure the lives of his/her employees on one policy for easy administrative purpose.

Introduction

Group P.A. Insurance covers a group of persons in one policy; e.g. an employer on the lives of his/her employees. Our policy provides payment of benefits for bodily injury caused directly and solely by accidental means. It offers protection 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and anywhere in the world. Coverage is extended whether the employee is at work, at home, or on holiday.

 

Benefit A/B

Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement (PD) occuring within 12 months from the date of injury.

Where the injury is not specified the Company reserves the right to adopt a percentage of disablement which in its opinion is not inconsistent with the provisions of the scale.

Weekly Hospital Income. 

The policy does not cover:

 

  • Any person below 16 years or above 60 years of age at the date the policy comes into effect
  • War risks
  • Existing physical or mental defects
  • Suicide or self-injury
  • Pregnancy or childbirth
  • Hernia, HIV, bacterial or viral infections, any disease or sickness
  • Participation in a criminal act
  • Professional sports
  • Racing of any kind (other than on foot), caving, parachuting, hang-gliding, hunting, mountaineering requiring ropes or guides, water-ski jumping, underwater activities involving the use of breathing apparatus
