Permanent Disablement

Pays lump sum as specified in Permanent Disablement Scale in the event of permanent disablement as a result of an accident.

Where the injury is not specified the Company reserves the right to adopt a percentage of disablement which in its opinion is not inconsistent with the provisions of the scale.

 

Medical Expenses

Reimbursement for the Actual, Necessary, and Reasonable medical or clinical treatment or medical equipment necessary to assist in the mobility of the Life Insured, traditional medical treatment incurred for injuries resulting from an accident, or illness due to Dengue, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE). The fee for a medical report and/or postmortem report is also payable provided it is specifically required by the Company.

 

Death due to Childbirth or Pregnancy

Pays up to RM125,000 to the Insured's or Life Insured's next-of-kin or legal personal representative 25% of the Original Sum Insured.

 

Prostheses/Wheelchair

In the event the Life Insured suffers Permanent Disablement due to an accident, the Company will reimburse the Life Insured up to RM2,000.

 

Dental Correction and/or Corrective Cosmetic Surgery

Pays up to the limit specified in the Schedule per accident for the actual expenses incurred for dental and/or corrective cosmetic surgery performed on the Life Insured's neck, head, or chest (navel up) as a result of an accident resulting in permanent disablement.

 

Infertility 

Pay the Life Insured 10% of the Original Principle Sum Insured for injury to the reproductive organs due to an accident resulting in Total and Permanent Inability to conceive or become pregnant.

 

Major Burns

Pay the Life Insured 5% of the Original Principle Sum Insured for third degree burns covering at least twenty (20) percent of the Life Insured's body surface area as measured by the Rule of 9 of the "Lund and Browder Body Surface Chart" as a result of an accident.

 

Snatch Theft Compensation

Pay the Life Insured RM500 for loss or damage to jewelry or personal effects caused by snatch theft or wayside robbery.

 

Blood Contamination/Transfusion 

Pay the Life Insured 10% of the Original Principle Sum Insured if the Life Insured contracts Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) as a result of Blood Transfusion or Blood Contamination whilst the Life Insured is undergoing medical treatment for a covered injury or illness in a Government or Licensed Private Hospital within Malaysia, provided that the Life Insured is positively diagnosed with HIV within two (2) years from the date of transfusion in a hospital within Malaysia and the policy is still in force.

 

Daily Home Nursing Care 

Pays up to RM200 per day up to a maximum thirty (30) days per accident for any nursing care services rendered by a qualified and registered nurse that are medically necessary for the Life Insured who is totally disabled as a result of an accident and who would otherwise be confined as a bed patient in a hospital. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).

 

Rape Trauma

Pays up to RM2,000 in the event the Life Insured is raped subject to submission of Police Report and required documentation to the Company. In the event of death, only Death and Funeral Allowance benefits are payable.

 

Sexual Harassment 

Pays up to RM5,000 per incident to the Life Insured for actual legal costs and expenses incurred for instituting legal proceedings against a fellow colleague for sexual harassment.

 

Funeral Allowance 

Pays lump sum of RM3,000 to the Insured's or Life Insured's next-of-kin or legal personal representative in the event of death benefit is payable. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).

 

Renewal Bonus

10% yearly increase on the original sum insured for death and permanent disablement benefits as renewal bonus up to a maximum of 50% provided that such renewal date is continuous and without breaks from the previous policy date. Once a claim is made for Permanent Disablement or Personal Liability, any accumulated renewal bonuses will be forfeited and computations for future renewal bonuses will begin anew from the next renewal date.

 

Double Indemnity 

Pays double the original sum insured for death or permanent disablement, total paralysis, or permanent total loss/loss of use of 2 limbs if accident occurs whilst the Life Insured is traveling as a fare-paying passenger on any mode of public transport or whilst traveling overseas. Overseas shall mean outside of Malaysia, Singapore, Negara Brunei Darussalam, and Thailand.

 

Personal Liability 

Subject to the limit of liability, the Company will indemnify the Life Insured in respect of all sums he/she shall become legally liable to pay to third parties in respect of accidental bodily injury or accidental damage to property. The territorial limit of this benefit is within Malaysia only.

Malaysian citizen and permanent residents residing and working in Malaysia from age 16 to 60 years old and renewal up to 75 years old.

CLASS 1

Professions and occupations involving non-manual, administrative or clerical work, solely in offices or similar non-hazardous places.

 

CLASS 2

Professions and occupations involving work of a supervisory nature or traveling outside office for purposes but not engaging in manual work.

 

CLASS 3 

Profession or occupations involving occasional or regular manual work not particularly hazardous in nature but involving the use of tools or machinery (not using woodworking machinery).

Aircrew, ship crew, police, army/military and law enforcement officer, foreign domestic helper, jockey, armed security guard, diver, social escort, guest relations officer (GRO) or similar related category (whether full or part-time) working in nightclubs or entertainment outlets, professional entertainer, professional sportswoman, person working in acid/chemical factory (hazardous) works, oil rig worker, quarry worker, racing driver, railway manual worker, sawyer and timber logging worker, plantation or estate worker (other than owners), steeplejack, underground tunneling and mining, woodworking machinist, heavy commercial driver, firefighter, person engaged in connection with outdoor work involving heights up to 30 feet.

The policy does not cover war risks, existing physical or mental defects, suicide, self-injury, participation in a criminal act, professional sports, racing of any kind (other than on foot), caving, parachuting, hang-gliding, hunting, mountaineering requiring ropes or guides, traveling as an aircraft crew, aerial activities, martial arts, radiation or contamination by radioactivity, and nuclear weapons material.
