JOB RESPONSIBILITY
  • Handling, processing and recommending settlement of claims from HQ and Branches in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
  • Ensure claims are processed in accordance with the Company’s Claims Service Standard and / or BNM’s Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices (minimum standard).
  • Handling claims in such a way as to maintain the Company’s reputation for high quality service and customers’ satisfactions (speedy and fair dealings).
  • Checking on all new claims registration and / or claims adjustment to ensure the claims data processing input accurate and reserving in accordance with the Company’s guidelines / practices. To ensure prompt payments processing.
  • Checking / verification of documentation, assessment of claims and providing recommendation for settlement.
  • Assignment of adjusters and / or solicitors to conduct investigations as well as follow up on their reports and status of claims.
  • Matching / connecting received documents to claim files and maintaining a good filing system.
  • Reviewing / follow-up on all outstanding claims on regularly basis (minimum requirement at least once a year) to ensure claims reserve are adequate and status update during the review exercise.
  • Maintaining a low pending ratio of outstanding claims (prompt disposal of claims to reduce number of outstanding claims).
  • Liaising with other departments and agents on documentation or information required.
  • Informing and updating superior or HOD on any deficiency on policy coverage and adverse claims trend so that corrective measures could be taken by the appropriate departments.
JOB SPECIFICATION
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in law  or any Field or MII
  • Candidates with at least 1 years working experience of non-motor claims are preferred.
  • Fresh graduate are encourage to apply.
  • Able to fully utilize the GIS, Integral and Merimen system as well as Microsoft Words, Excel and Powerpoint;
  • Communicate well with all parties, Insureds/Agents/Marketers;
