This position will drive growth strategy, planning and activation to increase brand awareness via integrated channels, with main focus on traditional mediums and owned assets to build brand credibility and deliver our brand promise for the company, in the best story-telling and story-doing possible, for our customers.

Responsibility:
  • Work with Head of Brand, Marketing Communications and CX and other HODs to develop, create, plan and execute consumer driven brand plans that maximise brand equity, revenue and profit for the brand and for cobrand partnership
  • Work in close partnership with digital marketing, creative designer, PR and communications, bancassurance, underwriting, sales and distribution teams to jointly design and lead the execution of core campaigns and programs to build brand, cobrand and product category awareness
  • Lead in brand custodianship by ensuring brand guidelines and brand assets are used and applied accordingly, to maintain brand reputation and integrity
  • Lead alignment process of brand plan, collaterals, documentations with relevant teams and stakeholders to ensure business and customers’ needs are proactively addressed
  • Lead regular quantitative and qualitative business analysis covering market trend, competition and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and develop clear, compelling offerings that inspire and engage key stakeholders
  • Lead assigned key brand activation projects, follow up with agencies and stakeholders for regular updates and provide full analysis post completion of project
  • As the brand lead for local team in communications and alignment with regional and global brand teams
  • Work closely with the line Manager to develop exciting and compelling communication tools to ensure internal and external buy-ins
  • Co-ordinate research data and report on trends/insights, providing analysis to other stakeholders
  • Lead brand performance analytics for assigned portfolio, including monthly reporting and diagnostic assessment of portfolio and strategic opportunities
  • Effectively monitor A&P budgets allocation and spend
  • Understand pricing guidelines, collate market specific prices during key budgeting periods, and make recommendations to adapt to evolving business needs
  • Effective management of Agencies when required
  • Provide guidelines for Advertising & Promotional (A&P) budget, ensure spend is prioritised against brand priorities and relevant growth opportunities
Requirement:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Branding and Communications
  • Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in brand building, marketing, communications and leading the brand management function to execute integrated brand and marketing campaigns for verticals and target audiences (e.g. budget holders, influencers, etc.)
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Strong business acumen with analytical and solid influencing skills
  • Thorough and creative problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple initiatives with strong execution orientation and proper project management abilities
  • Hands-on leader with the ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic and regional environment
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and marketing reporting with ability to not only gather the appropriate data, but also glean insight to improve the performance of brand and marketing programs
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to bring effective collaboration and communication to a newly formed marketing team are required to perform the role
  • Successful track record of building brand development programs from scratch
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a high level of initiative
  • Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities and be willing to “roll-up your sleeves” to drive organizational change
  • Strong attention to detail and complex processes
  • Ability to work well with variety of different people at all levels of the company
