David Chok, a manager in our Motor Claims department will be participating in an exchange programme in our headquarters at SOMPO Japan from 3 December 2018 - 26 January 2019.

The Japan Exchange programme is sponsored by SOMPO Holdings Inc and provides an opportunity for selected staff from all entities and subsidiaries under the company to participate in the programme.

David has been with the company for 4 years and he has been assisting with a training programme with Bermas for the past 3 years, which led to him being selected for the programme. He will be station in Japan for 8 weeks and will learn how to minimise the loss ratio and increase efficiency of turnaround time and train to become a coordinator between the company and Bermas.
