Job Description
The role of this position for the achievement of organizational financial goals which include increasing new and retaining renewal business and promote proactive working relationships with common goals.
1. Business Production
• To develop New Business set for individual and assist the team in achieving designated GWP set for the department.
• Weekly visitation to assigned brokers to build business relationship
• Tracking of booked-in premium/monthly production
• Follow through business opportunities and promote BSIB products and services such Cross Selling and Win-back Accounts.
• Review all accounts due for renewal
2. Underwriting
• Ensure profitability of the department by working closely with health underwriters.
3. Service Delivery
• Ensure prompt policy and medical cards delivery to customers/brokers
• Monitor claims status of all accounts under own portfolios to ensure customer satisfaction on our service
• Checking of policies to ensure quality output in respect of policy cover and clauses
4. Credit Control
• Ensure that all credit control matters are up to date and all agreed targets are achieved
• Ensure premium collection are within target set by the company
• Monitor and maintain premium collection, claims recovery and reconciliation of accounts
5. Compliance
• Compliance of Company Guidelines and Regulations
