Q: Can I use MySOMPO to request for Roadside Assistance or towing services if I am not a Berjaya Sompo Insurance Policyholder?
A: No. Access to Roadside Assistance and Towing Services is only available to existing Berjaya Sompo Insurance customers. 

Q: Is MySOMPO available for download from all mobile operating systems?
A: MySOMPO app is only available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Q: I am encountering difficulty searching for MySOMPO on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
A: This is because your Google settings are configured for overseas locations. To download MySOMPO, consider adjusting your Google locations settings to Malaysia. 
 
Q: Do I need to register to use MySOMPO?
A: Not necessarily but other services are only accessible for Berjaya Sompo Insurance customers for which registration is required.

Q: The location in the Roadside Assistance feature is inaccurate. How can I go about rectifying this?
A: Before requesting Roadside Assistance, you can manually input the address of your current location. If you are unsure about the accuracy of your location, feel free to contact our 24-hour Breakdown Service for Private Car Support at hotline number 1-800-18-8033. 

Q: I am unable to request roadside assistance using MySOMPO as there is no internet connection at the breakdown/accident site. What should I do?

Q: Can I submit a claim via MySOMPO?
A: Yes, you can. Click here for more info on claims.

Q: What are the minimum requirements for my smartphone to download MySOMPO?
A: For Android, you need Android system version 9 (Pie) and above. Your device must be running a minimum of 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. For iOS, minimum iOS system version 2 and above is required and your device must be operating with 2GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage.

Q: Why am I unable to view all the policies I've purchased thus far?
A: MySOMPO will only display policies that are currently active and those that have expired within the last 12 months. 

Q: What should I do if I want to amend or renew my policy?
A: Please contact the intermediary/agent whose phone number is provided within each policy displayed in the app. 

Q: What should I do if I want to check the policy details for my family members?
A: Kindly advise your family members to individually register in the app to access its features. Please note that policyholders alone can retrieve their own policy details. 

Q: Can I register my company as a MySOMPO user?
A: Kindly be aware that at present, only individuals with a valid IC or passport number are eligible to register as MySOMPO users. 

Q: Who can I talk to if I need further assistance with MySOMPO?
A: You may contact our customer service call centre at 1-800-88-9933 for more assistance with the app.
