General Guidelines
  1. Make a police report (for Theft and Vandalism loss).
  2. Notify Us via MySOMPO app / our website or reach out to your agent immediately.
  3. Call Bomba (for fire loss).
  4. Take photo / video of damage items.
  5. Take all reasonable steps to minimize the extent of the loss or damage.
  6. Do not admit liability, negotiate or offer compensation to any third party.
  7. Submit the required documents to Us / Agent / Adjuster.

Documents Checklist

Required Documents:

  • Completed Claim Form.
  • Police report in the event of theft or Vandalism
  • Fire brigade report in the event of a fire.
  • Photographs depicting the damaged items or location of loss e.g. theft. 
  • Quotations / invoices on the cost of repairs / replacement.
  • Historical purchase invoices (for jewellery & luxury item original copy is required) 
  • All other information and documentary evidence as the We / appointed adjusters may require other than the above.
