Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in matters relating to general insurance valuation, statutory reporting and financial reporting.
- Extract and process data accurately for analysis and responsible for good data quality, setting of assumptions and validation of results.
- Maintain and update SOPs to ensure the processes are well documented.
- Provide advice and analytical support to other departments in projects and portfolio management.
- Bachelors of Master degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent with excellent analytical skills.
- Good progress towards actuarial professional qualification.
- At least 3-5 years of actuarial working experience.
- Good understanding and knowledge of general insurance products.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle significant workflow through efficient time management.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Visual Basic, SAS, R, SQL or similar statistical analysis tools.
