Job Description

Actuarial analysis for various functions such as model development, perform investigation, analysis and prepare reports on results for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance in matters relating to general insurance valuation, statutory reporting and financial reporting.
  •  Extract and process data accurately for analysis and responsible for good data quality, setting of assumptions and validation of results.
  • Maintain and update SOPs to ensure the processes are well documented.
  • Provide advice and analytical support to other departments in projects and portfolio management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors of Master degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent with excellent analytical skills.
  • Good progress towards actuarial professional qualification.
  • At least 3-5 years of actuarial working experience.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of general insurance products.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle significant workflow through efficient time management.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Visual Basic, SAS, R, SQL or similar statistical analysis tools.
