Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad – Miri Branch Opening
Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad, one of the leading general insurance companies in Malaysia announced the opening of their new branch office in Miri today. The opening ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Patrick Loh, CEO and Mr Yuji Kawauchi, Executive Director of the Company.
Also present at the ceremony were Steven Tan, Senior General Manager of Branch Operations & Branches, Steven Ting, Branch Head of Bintulu and Michael Ong, Branch Head of Miri, Mori Hirokazu - Head of Motor Franchise, Chin Vun Fong - Regional Manager Sabah and Alex Ong - Head of Kuching.
“The new branch office is strategically situated at Phase 1 of Marina Square of Marina ParkCity which is considered the most well planned commercial center in Miri with ample parking facilities and beautifully set landscape providing easy access to both agents and clients,” said Dato’ Patrick Loh, CEO of Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad.
Miri branch obtained its license from Bank Negara Malaysia in August 2015 and was operational since 2 nd November 2015. Miri Branch is currently headed by Michael Ong and three (3) dedicated and experienced staff to serve their agents and clients. Opening Miri branch is in line with Berjaya Sompo Insurance’s plans to expand their business operations into Sarawak.
