Where the injury is not specified the Company reserves the right to adopt a percentage of disablement which in its opinion is not inconsistent with the provisions of the scale.
Medical Expenses
Reimbursement for the Actual, Necessary, and Reasonable medical or clinical treatment or medical equipment necessary to assist in the mobility of the Life Insured, traditional medical treatment incurred for injuries resulting from an accident, or illness due to Dengue, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE). The fee for a medical report and/or postmortem report is also payable provided it is specifically required by the Company.
Hospital Income
A weekly benefit is payable for the period of hospitalisation not exceeding 52 weeks and as a result of an accident requiring hospitalisation in a registered or government hospital, provided that such hospitalisation occurs within twenty-four (24) hours from the date of the accident. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).
Temporary Total Disablement Benefit (Optional Cover)
Pays up to 52 weeks if Life Insured is completely unable to attend to his/her work due to injury caused by an accident as certified by a qualified and registered medical practitioner. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).
Funeral Allowance
Pays lump sum to the Insured's or Life Insured's next-of-kin or legal personal representative in the event of death benefit is payable. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).
Bereavement Allowance
In the event of the Life Insured's death due to Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE), the Company will pay the Insured or Life Insured's next-of-kin or legal personal representative 10% of the Original Principle Sum Insured specified in the Schedule as a Bereavement Allowance upon submission of the required documents.
Ambulance Fees
Pays ambulance fees incurred consequent upon an accident up to RM1,000 per accident. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).
Hospital Visitation Allowance
Pays RM20 per day for the period of hospitalisation not exceeding 50 days. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).
Dental Correction and/or Corrective Cosmetic Surgery
Pays up to RM5,000 for the actual expenses incurred for corrective dental and/or corrective surgical operations to the neck, head, or chest (navel up) as a result of an accident.
Coma
Upon certification by a physician that the Life Insured has been in a coma state for at least one (1) year due to an accident, the Company will pay 100% of the Original Principle Sum Insured. However, the Company has the right to recover the payment made if the Life Insured regains consciousness provided that the deduction is made of 10% of the aforementioned payment for each year the Life Insured was in a coma state.
Home Nursing Care Charges
Pays up to RM500 per week subject to a maximum 4 weeks for any nursing care services rendered by a qualified and registered nurse that are medically necessary for the Life Insured who is totally disabled as a result of an accident and who would otherwise be confined as a bed patient in a hospital. This benefit is not applicable for Food Poisoning, Dengue Fever, Malaria, or Japanese Encephalitis (JE).
Prostheses/Wheelchair
In the event the Life Insured suffers Permanent Disablement due to an accident, the Company will reimburse the Life Insured up to RM2,000.
Repatriation Expenses
Reimburse the Insured's or Life Insured's next-of-kin or legal personal representative up to a maximum of RM5,000 for the expenses incurred for the transportation of the mortal remains from the place where such accidental death occurs to the first point of entry into the country of residence.
Kidnap Benefit
Pay a lump sum of RM5,000 for necessary expenses incurred by the Life Insured's family to recover the Life Insured and also reward of RM25,000 for information leading to the recovery of the Life Insured provided that the Life Insured is alive at the time of recovery. The Original Principle Sum Insured will be paid in full if the kidnapped Life Insured is confirmed to have not been recovered after a period of one (1) year from the day of the kidnap.
Permanent Impotency and Infertility
Pay the Life Insured 10% of the Original Principle Sum Insured if the Life Insured suffers impotency or infertility due to an accident.
Major Burns
Pay the Life Insured 5% of the Original Principle Sum Insured for third degree burns covering at least twenty (20) percent of the Life Insured's body surface area as measured by the Rule of 9 of the "Lund and Browder Body Surface Chart" as a result of an accident.
Snatch Theft Compensation
Pay the Life Insured RM500 for loss or damage to jewellery or personal effects caused by snatch theft or wayside robbery.
Blood Contamination/Transfusion
Pay the Life Insured 10% of the Original Principle Sum Insured if the Life Insured contracts Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) as a result of Blood Transfusion or Blood Contamination whilst the Life Insured is undergoing medical treatment for a covered injury or illness in a Government or Licensed Private Hospital within Malaysia, provided that the Life Insured is positively diagnosed with HIV within two (2) years from the date of transfusion in a hospital within Malaysia and the policy is still in force.
Renewal Bonus
10% yearly increase on the original sum insured for death and permanent disablement benefits as renewal bonus up to a maximum of 50% provided that such renewal date is continuous and without breaks from the previous policy date. Once a claim is made for Permanent Disablement, Kidnap, or Personal Liability, any accumulated renewal bonuses will be forfeited and computations for future renewal bonuses will begin anew from the next renewal date.
Double Indemnity
Pays double the original sum insured for death or permanent disablement, total paralysis, or permanent total loss/loss of use of 2 limbs if accident occurs whilst the Life Insured is traveling as a fare-paying passenger on any mode of public transport or whilst traveling overseas. Overseas shall mean outside of Malaysia, Singapore, Negara Brunei Darussalam, and Thailand.
Personal Liability
Subject to the limit of liability, the Company will indemnify the Life Insured in respect of all sums he/she shall become legally liable to pay to third parties in respect of accidental bodily injury or accidental damage to property. The territorial limit of this benefit is within Malaysia only.
