Paving the way for the next leaders! Sompo Rising Star Scholarship Programme is designed to support promising students in their academic pursuits and career paths with Berjaya Sompo Insurance. We believe education is the key to success and are committed to supporting the next generation of leaders.

- Scholarship worth up to RM10,000 p.a*
- Internship programme opportunity.**
- Open to any programme, learning mode and semester.
*Up to RM10,000.00 per annum per person.
**Acceptance to the internship programme with BSIB is based on the current internship quota.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Open for Malaysians only.
- Open for Pre-U (foundation or matriculation), Diploma and Degree Programs in any field.
- Applicants from households earning below RM5,000.00 per month.
- Applicants must be at the age of 23 or below as of 2026.
Academic Requirements, applicants may apply based on either one of the below categories:

SPM Applicants to further study in Pre-U or Diploma | STPM, Pre-U or Diploma Applicants to further study in Degree | UEC Applicants to further study in Pre-U or Diploma | Currently pursuing Pre-U, Diploma or Degree Applicants |
Results with at least 7As in any subject | Results with at least 2As in any STPM subject or CGPA 3.5 in Pre-U or Diploma | Results with at least 6As in any subject | Latest result with a minimum of 3.5 CGPA |
- A minimum CGPA of 3.00 or above must be maintained until graduation.
- For Categories 1, 2 and 3, applicants must have a confirmed placement for a Pre-U, Diploma or Degree program in any public and private Institution in Malaysia.
- For Category 4, applicants are to submit the latest semester results and a verification letter from the Institution.
