Berjaya Sompo Insurance is cognisant of public concerns over rising Medical and Health insurance premiums. We would like to assure our policyholders that we have your protection needs at heart. Berjaya Sompo continuously strives to explore measures that improve the design of medical and health insurance products to ensure pricing upward adjustment, if any, to be staggered over time to maintain its affordability.

Kindly note that there is no repricing for our individual health products in 2024. Our last repricing exercise was launched in 2023. However, for policyholders who encounter any difficulties in repaying renewal premium for their policy, we have provided the following options so that they still have some coverage during the interim period:

• For policies that have lapsed between 1 July 2024 and 31 December 2024, policyholders may request for policy reinstatement before 28 February 2025, subject to terms and conditions. Kindly contact below mentioned channels to submit your requests.
• Policyholders may consider converting their premiums to 6- or 12-month interest free payment plan for CIMB and Maybank cardholders only, subject to a minimum premium of RM800 and RM1,200 per policy, respectively.
• Policyholders may consider downgrading their plan for 1 year and reinstate their original plan the following year without re-underwriting. 
• Policyholders may consider opting for deductible options with discounted premium, applicable for cashless plan.
